Create an Instagram Business Account

1) Download the Instagram App–

First of all, you have to download the Instagram application to work on Instagram Marketing. And let me clear you that Instagram does not have a desktop version that includes all the functions of the app.
For instance, you can check out the content on Instagram’s website, but you can’t upload any post or content via your desktop( although there are some softwares available for that). Instagram is available for free in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
2) Create an Instagram Account–
Once you’ve downloaded the application, it’s time to create the account. When you open the application, you’ll have two options – Log In With Facebook or Sign Up With Phone or Email.
Try not to be enticed by the Facebook login! Sign up with the business email to ensure that your profile isn’t connected to your personal Facebook account.
3) Complete your profile-
Click on the “Edit Profile” button on your profile to influence corrections to your profile photo, profile name, username, bio, or URL. Include a branded photo, a short useful and informative bio, and a link to your website.
You need to optimize your Instagram bio. Instagram bio has a limit of 150-character, so you’ll have to be direct and to the point. In a few words tell your audience who you are and what you do using a hint of personality.
4) Connect your account to Facebook-
As you know Instagram is owned by Facebook. To boost your marketing efforts you must connect these two very powerful social media sites.

5) Last but not least, be sure to update your account settings.

A) Story Settings:
In August 2016, Instagram Released a new feature “Instagram Stories”
With the new and refreshing idea, Instagram Stories let the user post photos and videos that vanish after 24 hours.
In “Story Settings” option, you can manage who can see and reply to your Instagram Stories. We recommend you to allow the public and all your followers to see and reply to your Stories to increase brand engagement.
B) Switch to Business Profile:
Last Year, Instagram disclosed its new business tools feature. The tool allows users to identify themselves as a business, making it easy for their audience to get in touch with the brand directly. For example, you may approach to hide comments that contain offensive expletives. The best way to do this, enter the specific words and phrases (also called negative keywords) into your Instagram settings and turn on the feature.
F) Adding Additional Instagram Accounts:
What if you manage multiple accounts? Here is the solution!
Instagram lets the users add up to five accounts so you’re able to rapidly switch between them without signing in and out. It also allows the users to have various individuals signed into the account at one time.
Just be sure everyone is aware of what to post and when to post it with an updated editorial calendar.
To add an account, click on the gear to reveal your settings. Scroll to the bottom and you will find the option “Add Account”, simply click on it. Enter the desired username and password of the account that you’d like to add.
It’s very easy to switch between accounts, go to your profile and tap your username at the top of the screen. Just click on the account you’d like to switch to and you will be there.
